Challenge
The Fashion Filter, a start‑up, wanted to combine safety and style during the COVID‑19 pandemic by producing digitally printed face masks. They needed to print photographic‑quality images at high speed while meeting demand for large volumes. Any compromise in quality would reduce the masks’ appeal.
Solution
The team selected Jetcol® DHS paper. Its consistent release allowed them to print high‑resolution images onto masks quickly and reliably. By collaborating with artists and designers, they created unique collections, and Coldenhove’s paper ensured that every mask met their quality standards.
Results
The project gained popularity, and The Fashion Filter’s innovative approach led to a nomination for a Dutch Design Award. Digital sublimation and Coldenhove paper proved essential to combining creativity and functionality in protective apparel.
