Challenge
Phoenext, a Dutch print company acquired in 2003, had long produced screen‑printed banners and flags. To offer shorter runs and customized designs, they needed to modernize their process. Reducing ink consumption and maintaining color accuracy during the transition were key challenges.
Solution
Owner Jakob Lameijer invested in a digital sublimation printer and partnered with Texo Trade Services to select Jetcol Xtreme® paper. This paper’s high release and dimensional stability enable efficient ink use and simplify finishing, making it ideal for a flexible production environment.
Results
The move to digital printing transformed Phoenext into a versatile provider of textile graphics. Ink consumption decreased, and the company can now produce custom designs in shorter runs. Coldenhove paper ensures reliable transfers and helped Phoenext evolve from a traditional screen printer to a modern, flexible business.
