Internship – Coating Optimization for Texcol®
Help improve the formulation behind our Texcol® pigment transfer paper — from lab-scale development to pilot trials.
About the assignment
Texcol® is our innovative transfer paper for pigment printing on cotton. The current coating formulation is effective but complex and costly. Your assignment: explore ways to simplify and reduce the cost of this recipe without affecting print or transfer performance. You will work in our application lab and collaborate with our I&D team.

Duration: 5–6 months
What you’ll do
- Analyse the current coating formulation
- Test new combinations of coating components
- Evaluate transfer quality, drying behaviour and print performance
- Conduct experiments on lab-scale and pilot-scale equipment
- Propose optimised formulations and present findings
Who you are
- HBO/WO student in chemistry, materials science, applied science or similar
- Interested in coatings, materials and lab work
- Precise, analytical and comfortable experimenting
- Able to document and communicate results clearly
