Combines low grammage with high transfer yield — perfect for large-scale textile production where precision and efficiency matter most.
For fast, lightweight fashion production
Xtreme® Light is a low-weight sublimation transfer paper created for fast production of beautifully printed fashion garments, helping reduce environmental impact and shipping weight for global deliveries.
Available in 45 & 40 GSM
Choose 45 gsm for easy handling, added print stability and high transfer yield, or 40 gsm for faster transfer time, more meters per roll and equally high transfer yield. Both versions are suitable for plotter printers using water-based sublimation inks.
Lightweight Efficiency
More meters, less weight
Designed for high-speed, low-waste production, Xtreme® Light offers more printable meters per roll without compromising quality — lowering shipping costs and material use.
Fast Drying
Immediate handling, faster transfers
Its advanced coating absorbs ink instantly and dries quickly, allowing uninterrupted high-speed printing and transfer efficiency on lightweight fabrics.
High Transfer Yield
Vivid colour, minimal ink
Achieve vibrant, consistent colour with excellent ink release — producing deep tones and sharp detail even at reduced ink coverage.
Reliable Runnability
Stable printing under pressure
Excellent dimensional stability prevents cockling or wrinkles during high-volume runs — maintaining consistent transfer results from roll to roll.
Sustainable by Design
Lighter footprint, same performance
Produced with FSC® certified fibres and 95% process water reuse at our Dutch facility powered by renewable energy and an electric eBoiler to minimize fossil-fuel use.

Xtreme® Light is a low-grammage sublimation transfer paper for efficient, lightweight textile production. It is used for fashion collections, home textiles such as curtains and cushions, soft signage and lightboxes, and activewear where speed, color consistency and precise detail matter.
Xtreme® Light is available in 40 GSM and 45 GSM. The 45 GSM version offers a little more handling stability during printing and finishing, while the 40 GSM version maximizes meters per roll and speeds up transfers. Both deliver high transfer yield and vivid color.
Yes, Xtreme® Light is designed for plotter printers that run water-based dye-sublimation inks. It ensures clean release and sharp results on polyester fabrics and blends.
No, despite the lightweight base, Xtreme® Light maintains excellent contour definition and smooth gradients. Its coating supports high transfer yield, so colors remain deep and uniform.
The paper absorbs ink quickly for fast drying and reliable transfer, keeping workflows moving without cockling or smudging, even on airy fabrics.
As a guideline, use 195–205 °C for 25–40 seconds, depending on fabric and equipment. Keep the print room around 23 °C and 40–60 % relative humidity for optimal flatness and runnability.
Store in original packaging away from humidity and direct sunlight. Condition rolls in the print room for 24 hours before use. When stored correctly, the paper has a shelf life of about 1.5 years.
Yes, the lower grammage means more meters per roll and less weight per shipment, which helps reduce transport costs and roll changeovers without affecting print quality.
Xtreme® Light works best on polyester and polyester-rich blends used for apparel, interior textiles and soft signage. It is not suitable for cotton or direct-to-fabric pigment processes.
Yes, it is produced in the Netherlands using FSC-certified fibers with 95 percent process-water reuse, heat recovery, solar integration and an electric eBoiler to reduce fossil-fuel usage.
In many cases it can. If your jobs do not require heavy ink loads or extreme stiffness, Xtreme® Light provides comparable color and detail with the benefits of lighter rolls and faster handling.
Choose 45 GSM when you want a little extra stability in printing and finishing or are new to lightweight paper. Choose 40 GSM when your priority is maximum efficiency, more meters per roll and slightly faster transfer times while maintaining the same high transfer yield.
