What is Xtreme® sublimation paper used for?

Xtreme® is designed for high-performance industrial printing on polyester-based textiles. It’s ideal for fashion, home furnishing, signage, and sportswear applications where color consistency, fine detail, and fast drying are essential.

Why choose Xtreme® for high-glycol inks and Kyocera print heads?

Xtreme® was engineered specifically for high-glycol inks and Kyocera print head technology. Its coating absorbs ink quickly and evenly, ensuring precise dot placement, sharp lines, and stable color—even during continuous high-speed production.

How does Xtreme® improve transfer yield and reduce ink consumption?

Thanks to its high ink-release coating, Xtreme® delivers deep, vibrant color while using less ink. This results in sharper prints, improved transfer yield, and measurable savings in both ink and paper over large-scale runs.

What drying performance can I expect from Xtreme®?

Xtreme® dries extremely fast, even under high ink loads. This rapid absorption prevents smudging and cockling, allowing operators to run at full press speed without external dryers.

Is Xtreme® suitable for large-volume production?

Yes. Xtreme® is built for industrial environments and available in jumbo rolls up to 9,000 linear metres. It offers consistent runnability and dimensional stability across long production cycles.

Is Xtreme® sublimation paper environmentally friendly?

Absolutely. Xtreme® is made in the Netherlands using FSC®-certified fibres, with 95 % process-water reuse and renewable energy sources including solar and recovered heat. Coldenhove also uses an electric eBoiler to minimize fossil-fuel usage and grid congestion.

What are the recommended transfer settings for Xtreme®?

For optimal results, maintain a print room at 23 °C and 40–60 % relative humidity. Use transfer temperatures between 195 °C and 205 °C for 25–40 seconds, depending on the fabric and press type.

How should I store and handle Xtreme® rolls?

Store rolls in their original packaging, away from humidity and direct sunlight. Condition them in the print room for at least 24 hours before use. When stored correctly, Xtreme® has a guaranteed shelf life of 1.5 years.

Can Xtreme® replace multiple sublimation papers in production?

Yes. Many customers, such as signage producers and textile manufacturers, use Xtreme® as a universal solution across multiple applications. Its coating and grammage (66 gsm) allow consistent results on various polyester fabrics—reducing inventory complexity.

Where is Xtreme® sublimation paper manufactured?

Xtreme® is produced entirely in Coldenhove’s facility in Eerbeek, the Netherlands. Every roll is made under strict quality control using sustainably sourced raw materials and innovative coating technology.
