Medicol® ETO — Sterile protection for Sensitive Devices
High-performance sterile barrier paper for ETO sterilization.
Designed for sensitive instruments
Medicol® ETO enables safe and effective ethylene oxide sterilization for medical devices that cannot tolerate heat or moisture. Its permeability, seal strength, and clean peel ensure both effective sterilization and safe opening.
Reliable Performance, Every Time
Manufactured with Coldenhove’s strict quality standards, Medicol® ETO provides consistent barrier protection and sealing behavior. Its stability and durability make it suitable for critical healthcare packaging worldwide.
Purpose-built for ETO sterilization
Reliable for sensitive devices
Medicol® ETO is tailored for ethylene oxide sterilization, providing high air permeability and strong seals so sterilant can penetrate effectively while maintaining a secure sterile barrier for temperature-sensitive medical devices.
Protection for delicate instruments
Safe for heat- and moisture-sensitive devices
Developed in close collaboration with healthcare providers, Medicol® ETO is ideal for devices that are prone to damage from heat or moisture, helping safeguard both packaging integrity and the sterile contents inside.
Strong, dependable barrier
High strength properties
Excellent tensile and burst strength help resist punctures and tears during processing, transport, and storage, maintaining the structural integrity of the sterile barrier throughout the device’s lifecycle.
Clean peel & easy opening
Safe access at point of use
Balanced seal strength and clean peel behaviour support safe, residue-free opening in the sterile field, helping reduce fibre tear and particle generation when packages are opened by clinical staff.
