What is Jet-X® used for?

Jet-X® is a high-performance sublimation transfer paper designed for industrial-scale production of fashion, sportswear, home textiles, and soft signage. It delivers consistent color, sharp detail, and excellent transfer yield at high printing speeds.

What grammage is Jet-X® available in?

Jet-X® is available in 57 GSM — optimized for fast ink absorption, dimensional stability, and reliable handling on high-speed industrial printers.

What makes Jet-X® different from other sublimation papers?

Jet-X® combines very fast drying with smooth, stable runnability on jumbo rolls. Its coating technology enables uniform ink release, high transfer yield, and uninterrupted performance even under heavy ink loads.

Is Jet-X® suitable for industrial printers and high-glycol inks?

Yes. Jet-X® is engineered for industrial printers using high-glycol sublimation inks and Kyocera print heads, ensuring clean, accurate dot placement and uniform color distribution.

Do I need external dryers when using Jet-X®?

No. Jet-X® dries rapidly thanks to its advanced coating, eliminating the need for external dryers and helping operators maintain full production speed.

How does Jet-X® perform under high humidity?

Jet-X® resists humidity fluctuations thanks to its robust paper base and controlled coating. Rolls arrive well-protected and stable, preventing moisture damage or waviness during printing.

What transfer settings are recommended for Jet-X®?

Use a transfer temperature of 195–205 °C for 25–40 seconds, depending on the fabric and calender setup. Maintain a print room temperature around 23 °C and 40–60 % relative humidity for best performance.

How should I store and handle Jet-X® rolls?

Store rolls in their original packaging, away from humidity and direct sunlight. Condition them in the print room for 24 hours before use. When stored correctly, Jet-X® has a shelf life of about 1.5 years.

Can Jet-X® be used for both roll-to-roll and piece printing?

Yes. Jet-X® is suitable for both continuous roll-to-roll operations and individual panel transfers, offering flexibility for mixed production environments.

Is Jet-X® environmentally responsible?

Yes. Jet-X® is produced in the Netherlands using FSC-certified fibers, with 95 percent process-water reuse and renewable energy sources integrated into production.
